About me

Mr Daniele Borsetto is a consultant  ENT surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. He graduated in Italy, University of Padova in 2011. He has accomplished his training in Italy and he has been awarded 4 fellowships before becoming a consultant, working in UK famous centres like Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, Queen Elisabeth Hospital in Birmingham, Guy’s and St Thomas’, the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, King’s Hospital in London.

His fellowships were in complex otology and hearing implants (Addenbrooke’s Hospital), Otology and lateral skull base (Guy’s and St thomas’s / King’s and NHNN), Anterior and Lateral Skull Base (Addenbrooke’s Hospital) and Head and Neck Cancers (Queen Elisabeth Hospital). He performs complex skull base, otology, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), septoplasties and hearing implantation surgeries. He has an interest also for patients with dizziness, balances disorders, chronic rhinosinusitis, tinnitus.

Mr Borsetto is part of the Committee of the European Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery, he is constantly involved in national and international courses and congresses, opportunities to teach the next generation of surgeons and share advances in ENT obtained through his experience and studies.

Mr Borsetto has published a lot of research papers and continues to be involved in delivering research in the ENT field. He has won several academic prizes and he has successfully finished a MPhil with the University of Cambridge. His research continues on skull base pathologies, facial nerve, chronic middle ear conditions, tinnitus, hearing loss, hearing implants and balance/dizziness.
Mr Borsetto is also active in training GP alongside the medical students at Cambridge medical school.

Mr Borsetto has experience also in the all range of general ENT conditions in both adults and children.
